John Porter is a hospitality and business-management leader with more than 50 years of industry experience. Since 1999 he has owned and operated Cynosure Hospitality
Solutions, a full-service consulting firm focused on operational optimization, service excellence, and cost-control improvement. Cynosure’s White-Glove approach and expertise with platforms such as xtraCHEF and Marketman deliver consistent quality and superior customer satisfaction.
John’s corporate leadership includes senior roles at Toast and xtraCHEF by Toast. As one of Toast’s first 300 employees, he joined as an Implementation Manager for Toast POS,
focusing on customer-facing implementation and support. At xtraCHEF he built teams and processes that drove rapid adoption of the product and achieved the division’s highest levels of customer satisfaction, while streamlining onboarding and reinforcing a customer-first culture.
Earlier roles include Director of Staff and Management Development at Slesar Bros. Brewing Co. and President of JCP Systems, where he developed training programs, oversaw operations, and improved service delivery. A committed mentor and strategic planner, John continues to help hospitality and food-service organizations grow through operational excellence, talent development, and customer-focused solutions.
Molly Jones
Senior Consultant
Molly Jones has spent the last 10+ years blending her love of hospitality, technology, and people. She started her career in restaurant operations in Colorado and Hawaii, later stepping into franchise leadership as Director of Training & Support where she helped grow a restaurant brand from just a few locations to more than 30. Along the way, she built training programs, supported new openings, and worked side-by-side with operators to make sure systems, software, and teams were set up for success.
More recently, Molly has brought that same hands-on experience into the tech world, working with Toast as a Senior Customer Trainer and Onboarding Consultant III. She’s led clients through complex software rollouts, guided teams through change, and built strong relationships by focusing on solutions and collaboration.
Outside of work, Molly is a longtime entrepreneur. She founded Molly Corrine Photography over a decade ago and still runs the business today, capturing weddings, portraits, and events. Whether she’s helping a customer adopt a new platform or documenting a once-in-a-lifetime moment, Molly brings energy, creativity, and a people-first approach to everything she does.
Gabriel De Araujo

Gabriel De Araujo is a multilingual SaaS and hospitality technology consultant with 15+ years of experience helping restaurants translate software into measurable business outcomes. Fascinated by technology from a young age—he rebuilt a family PC at seven—Gabriel built a foundation in computer science and networking (AS, Computer Software Engineering, Broward College; Full-Stack training, Nucamp) before focusing on SaaS and customer success.
At Toast (Onboarding Consultant II, Nov 2021–Sep 2025) he guided 500+ restaurants through xtraCHEF implementation and adoption, improving cost visibility, streamlining inventory control, and optimizing pricing tools to reduce waste and boost profitability. He supported emerging-market onboarding in Spanish and Portuguese, consistently exceeded performance targets, and earned multiple customer-service awards.
Earlier roles include Restaurant Manager / Corporate IT Administrator at Chima Steakhouse (10 years), where he oversaw multi-location software implementations, staff training,
inventory and wine program management, and operations that supported high guest ratings and strong revenue; and Manager for Coco Bambu’s first U.S. location, leading training and POS implementation to improve throughput and service consistency.

With over a decade of hands-on restaurant management experience, Dan Galvez has built a career at the intersection of hospitality and technology. Having worked with leading brands such as The Olive Garden, Chili’s Bar & Grill, Starbucks Coffee Company, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, and Nordstrom Cafes, Dan developed a deep understanding of the operational challenges and financial intricacies that define successful restaurant businesses.
For the past six years, Dan has leveraged this industry expertise in the software implementation space, helping hospitality companies adopt and optimize technology solutions that streamline operations and improve profitability. Most recently, as an Onboarding Consultant with Toast’s xtraCHEF team, he was recognized as one of the most knowledgeable consultants in the product suite and highly regarded for his ability to translate complex tools into clear, actionable strategies for restaurant owners and operators.
